One treatment can promote ongoing skin health.
A series of 3 treatments provides corrective treatment for primary and secondary concerns.
A series of 4-6 peels optimizes treatment of the most challenging skin concerns.
PRE TREATMENT
2 weeks prior to your intended treatment, avoid direct sun exposure.
Apply daily sunscreen 30 SPF or greater and reapply as needed.
Avoid tanning either outside or in a tanning bed. You can not be treated if you have a sunburn or have sunless tanner on your face.
7 days prior to treatment avoid the following active ingredients:
- Topical retinoids (Retin-A, tretinoin, adapalene)
- Vitamin C
- Glycolic acid
- Salicylic acid
If you have had other skin rejuvenation procedures in the past month please discuss with your provider to ensure adequate spacing of treatments.
Come to your appointment with clean product free skin.
If you have a history of herpes simplex virus (HSV) in any treatment areas, notify your provider prior to treatment. Your provider will have to pre-treat you with anti-viral medication prior to treatment of VI peel.
It is recomended to wait at least 6 months post treatment of isotretinoin (Accutane) before a chemical peel.
If you have had your eyebrows micro bladed, please let your provider know.
